The staff at the Grand Summit hotel were friendly, helpful, and even went out of their way to help with requests or questions that I had. The atmosphere they facilitated in creating made my conference experience that much more enjoyable. Most notably was as I was leaving on the chartered bus, some of the staff stood outside waving goodbye. I cannot wait for a chance to return.

Very convenient with a ski check and walk out to the slopes on the first floor of rooms, one up from the lobby. Very helpful, friendly staff. Large heated pool accessed by a swim out entrance from the fitness center. Comfortable, jetted hot tub adjacent to the pool. Gets crowded Thursday to Saturday. Great fitness center with a wide variety of cardio and strength equipment that is well maintained. Towels are provided for the pool and gym. I have stayed here several times in a deluxe room with Murphy bed and pull out couch and kitchenette. The beds are reasonably comfortable and the room is spacious when the beds are folded up. The kitchen is dated, a bit worn and sparsely supplied. This past time our room was near some type of compressor which cycled on about every 10 minutes. Very noticeable at night. The restaurant, Camp had great atmosphere, comfortable bar and table seating. Very good food choices and everything was delicious. Very expensive, though. A burger was $19 and a glass of wine $15. Could be pandemic supply related. All in, I love the convenience of thus hotel, the pool and fitness center. The rooms need serious upgrading.

The hotel books at a luxury price thanks to its location, but the amenities and property overall are disappointing for the cost. Management clearly took advantage of covid to cut support staff to try to squeeze another few dollars out of the bottom line, and it’s had a noticeable impact on the experience. The staff was fantastic - everyone was pleasant and helpful (I0/10 service) but there simply weren’t enough employees to keep up with guest needs. The pool area was a consistently a mess and towels were not refilled in the evening, so guests basically just ran back to their room dripping wet after getting out of the pool. Not the staffs fault though - they were all on the ball and doing their best. There just weren’t enough of them. If hiring is the problem might I recommend paying more? The lack of attention to maintenance was also nothing short of egregious. I stayed here in 2020 as well and I don’t think they’ve spent a dime on updates/upkeep since. We plan to book our ski trip elsewhere next year in hopes of finding a better value.
