No, I wouldn't say anything like that. It's really close to the base of Sunday River and lots of people. That being said this is still Maine, we still have natural land and woods and you may see a bear. However you need to realize that bears are more afraid of you than you are of them, and if you are not threatening to them they will leave you alone. Treat them like bees. That location and home are beautiful if you're going to have a stay there please enjoy.
