Great place lots of different hike for different levels..falls were amazing little small due to the drought

Hiked the eyebrow trail; unforgettable. Fun and technically challenging hike that had our group taking in the sights, working up a sweat and enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Super beautiful, especially during the fall season. Not particularly busy this time of year, which made it even better. I'd recommend water proof shoes or boots for hiking as the ground was quite squishy, and mushy.

We checked out screw auger falls and moose cave today. Absolutely well worth the trip just to see the falls. Photos don't do it justice. Definitely stop by moose cave if you're in the area. Just a small little half loop but still cool 😊

Chances are slim. Moose more likely in leveller, less rocky terrain. Grafton Notch is beautiful (especially in summer) but technically it's mountain foothills. Wouldn't be surprised if spot a bear.
Grafton Notch state park is an amazing day park but does not have overnight campsites. There is one nearby called grafton notch campground in newry, Maine .
All of the attractions in Grafton are a short walk from the parking areas. Screw Auger falls is less than 100 feet from the parking lot. I can't recall is there is handicap access to the falls or not.
Yes along the river there are a bunch, with picnic tables
Winter time is just as beautiful as summer and a lot less crowded.
There is no gate, they have an honor system at the parking lots, where you put cash in a container.
