That question is alot more complicated to answer than you think. The Wisconsin Dells area has close to 200 places to stay and approximately 90 attractions. With so many choices you can tailor your cost to whatever you want or possibly wing it under a condition. Tailoring it is gonna take a bunch research and since the question is pretty general you may want to do the latter. For first timers winging it won't be bad. It'll give you a better idea of the lay of the land. Waterpark packages are the easiest things to get in the Dells. If you want to do the larger waterparks cheaply, hit the motels that offer waterpark passes on a weekday. You will hit the $100 price range per night the closest. Some examples of places like this are Park Motel, All Star Value Inn, etc. This is most general answer to that question. Tons of factors, need to be considered for an accurate answer.... Age group, things you wanna do, type of lodging, amenities, packages, etc.

Depends on the age of the child and which tour you are looking to go on (upper or lower). The upper tour is about $32/adult and $16/ child, while lower tour is around $24/adult and $13/child (age 3 and under is free for both tours) Then there are also Sunset tours and a ghost tour. http://www.dellsboats.com/
