We are planning to go up there this weekend.(I assume they are open on the labor day weekend) Does anyone know if mountain fire affected the caverns in any way?? Do thet still operate normally? Thank you.

Hey, Sachi. I actually work there. The smoke has affected the air quality, but it has massively improved on the lake this week. Either way, the caverns are open for labor day weekend with more frequent tours in fact. I hope to see you there! 😊

I think you should be fine. Caverns were on the opposite side of the majority of the fires. Where i normally pass thru and camp i have been seeing photos of clear skies. Also fire is now considered 100% contained
