Camp site 12 is remarkable! Water is low, lots of bees in the morning. Don’t bring any kayaks The water is too fast for kayaks. Very nice place for the summer!

Beautiful and almost empty campground! This view in the pictures is from the campsite - #17. No running water in restrooms - vault style. Mosquitoes, insects, spiders were all a real problem especially on the campsites that weren’t on the main view/road next to the river. No connectivity - which is the best part. Getting to the water is a bit of a hike as it has dried out quite a bit. A lot of people seemed to have made bookings but never showed up. Can get very hot but there’s enough shade from the trees.

A favorite campground of ours. Very pretty and sites spaced out. Many sites close to the water.

The campground was nice not are normal go to spot but checked it out the mosquitoes came out and went away about dusk but right after Dusk and it was dark there is about a thousand of the spiders everywhere weed kill one and then they eat each other then there was a thousand centipedes or Millipedes or whatever you want to call you couldn't step anywhere without stepping on at least one it's pretty gross I know I just wasn't too into it midnight we were ready to pack up and leave but too afraid that we might have spiders or Millipedes or centipedes in our stuff so Amigos and does 20 checks around or tent to make sure that they did not get in but other than that great fishing spot is really pretty at night without the bugs

Hello Ruth, Ellery Creek Campground is about 14 miles off I5. The closest restaurants would either be in Lakehead or Redding approximately 30/45 minutes.
Not really.
