If going between the enterance off Laurel to the diversion dam, I'm pretty sure it's 2.5 miles one way, not 1.5.
From the diversion dam to the entrance off Laurel Street, the trail is a little longer than 2.5 miles so round trip I would guess to be close to 5.25 miles.
