i have never seen a cover charge but there is a often manned hosted information booth for the tours etc.
The place is more like the food court in a mall--several different places to order food, then sit either outside in the back to watch the planes take off and land, or there is indoor seating at booths and tables. In the middle of the large building is a bar with barstool-type seating. You can order beer, wine or a mixed drink to go with the food you ordered, or sit and enjoy your drink at the bar. Unique, fun setup. There are firepits to sit at outside, too!
