It's a wonderful gem in the valley. We love the laid back atmosphere and that we are able to talk without yelling. Scott, the bartender is wonderful at making drinks and very attentive. Gus the host also plays the part well.

I've been here a few times for some art shows as well as to see bands and parties. It's a nice space with 2 large rooms and is great when it's not so crowded. They even have Chimay on tap. It's kind of in a weird area and can be hard to park around here.

I definitely recommend making a visit, if: you feel comfortable walking through a kinda shady looking alley to get to the entrance; you're okay living without AC for as long as you're in the venue; you can accept that there's no guarantee that any of the music will be good. $5, small local bands, YMMV. The venue itself is super cool.

Great place to see up coming female punk bands. Only down fall is that it's like a sauna with no air ventilation.

Your best bet is to a) talk to whoever is working door at a show or b)talk to a band that plays there regularly

Can I bring my camera? Canon DSLR?

I would assume so. People take a lot of pictures with their phones here so I doubt cameras would have a different policy. I see a lot of photographers taking pictures of the artists too, when I go here.
