UPDATE: The Icon eventually found the negatives after reorganizing their storage. They later contacted me and said their policy has changed and asked me to update the review. ORIGINAL REVIEW: After repeated attempts to recover priceless fine art negatives after having them scanned, I was told they would "call me back". Never received a call. I had to call them multiple times and always got "we will call you back" finally I called one last time this morning and it turns out they threw the negatives away because "they were in storage over a month" well, I tried to retrieve them at least twice in person within 2 months after initially dropping them off and they always had issues finding the negatives. Their systems are ANCIENT. If they did dispose of them, I never received a call prior that they were to dispose of them, nothing. This is absolutely unacceptable for for a professional working with negatives of any value. Please do not leave your negatives in their hands, you may not get them back. I'm back to working with mom and pops, don't be fooled by this company's name.

Icon used to be great many years ago but they simply are not a good lab anymore. Their customer service is terrible. Aside from this they are messy. Film processing is slow and the negatives are always dusty and scans dirty. I really would …David Mushegain(Mr.Mush) is no longer allowed anywhere in our facility. We have notified him that we will call LAPD if he enters our lab. David placed a film scan order with one of our customer service representatives, who informed him of the turnaround time his order would be completed and that turnaround times were subject to the volume of work already in production in the lab. After leaving the lab, dissatisfied with the turnaround time he was given, David called The Icon and proceeded to berate and curse at a different customer service representative who had nothing to do with his scan order and only had the misfortune of answering the telephone. The safety and security of the staff of The Icon is paramount. We will not endanger the wellbeing of our employees by exposing them to potentially dangerous individuals. Someone who yells and screams profanities at our staff is not someone whom we welcome here.

Hi Dindin, The maximum photo scanning area is 12” x 17”. Turnaround = 3 days (Rush Services of 2 days, 24 hours and ASAP are available). Large quantities may require extra time. Turnaround does not include weekends or non-open holidays. 10MB $10.00/image,11-20MB $20.00/image,21-50MB $25.00/image,1-100MB $30.00/image,101-200 MB $40.00.image. We offer multiple choices for file delivery..We use We Transfer for online delivery or you could get the files on a CD / DVD or Flash Drives / Hard drives.
Yes we do same day C41/E6/B&W film processing in all sizes. The cutoff for same day processing is 2.30pm.
