The U.S. Postal Service job, is to deliver mail including junk mail to the address on the mail! How does the post office know, if you are not at that address on the mail! If somebody else received your mail, how does the post office know that! If the person at that address does not give your your mail back to them and tell them! How does the post office know that! They would return the mail to sender If, the person or persons gave your mail back to them and said does not reside here anymore! This might surprise you, but, most of the postal workers are honest and diligent! Some of their customers are crooks, but the post office workers are not mind readers!!
Wow that's a very serious & unintentionally reply to my Question, & I appreciate your response! However You must have overlooked the SPECIFIC reason as to why I inquired about this situation in the first place...There is NOW a VACANT sticker inside my old mailbox, that We moved from on the 27th of Dec. (Lst month)! I was hoping from a response from A Postal Worker that can explain what their usual protocol is with regards to this matter??!!
