Have you noticed clouds formations with unusal cloud formations such as one or two eyes looking down from clouds? I noticed those in pictures shown with fence sites . Two different pictures. I thought that was very strange. So maybe keep track of clouds as they pass though this area.
There is a pet area. Down by river. We were warned about ticks. Found one that fell off one of us at home the next day.
Some of the historic areas do not allow dogs. However, it is a lovely place to hike with dogs even with the no pet area. I take my two all the time.
