I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Bear in mind its VERY small, but the views and the history made for a wonderful quick hike with my kiddos! It won't take long but there's plenty of other things in the area that you can hit multiple stops for a fun day trip like we did.

Great place for history lovers. Originally occupied in 10th century and being a home for 3 centuries for Chachokia people. Also it was found that before it, people were there 10 thousands years ago. Privately owned historic museum has many artifacts and information. Site is State park and sticker or daily admission required. Self guided walk around site is around mile or so.

One of the most significant Native American sites in Wisconsin and Midwest. Clear remnants of pyramid like mounds much like what is seen in the Cahokia people near St Louis. With much of the history and information on the people living here being unknown, it really gives the place a unique feel and ancient vibe!

Loved the walking trails, right by the Rock River it is a great scene overlooking the water. The info tablets along the walkway were both informational and educational. Great place to explore with you family if you have a weekend day to …

Not sure about the bathrooms but we definitely saw picnic tables by the entrance
It is all grass or dirt paths.
More of large open area to explore. A couple of paths to follow. Not a very large area though
Have you noticed clouds formations with unusal cloud formations such as one or two eyes looking down from clouds? I noticed those in pictures shown with fence sites . Two different pictures. I thought that was very strange. So maybe keep track of clouds as they pass though this area.
That is a subject of debate by many people, some people say there is one, some people say whatever. My thought is that if you look you can find what you're looking for. I believe it is a profoundly unique place, and the history of Sarah go much deeper than the average person would understand.
There is no fee for individuals. But there is a fee for vehicles. You can either buy a one-day vehicle pass or an annual pass. Vehicle with WIS license plate: annual $28, annual if resident is 65 or older $13, one day $8 (some parks $13 or $10), one day for resident older than 65 $3. For vehicles with out of state license plates the fees are: annual $38 and one day $11.
I dont believe thw park has camping sites. Sandhill Station SP is fairly close, though: https://dnr.wi.gov/topic/parks/name/glacialdrumlin/camping.html
You should go find it on google and if it does not work try your luck. Stay LIT😎😜 😏
