I've stayed there for a minute, the place is very friendly and they have on site security and one of those outside security companies that they call. The homeless people know not to bother the guests cause there is a police station a block away and there's always CHP or Park rangers ir some form of law enforcement staying in one if the rooms. As for walking? That's up to you, The river walkway up to Old Sacramento is a nice place to jog and always has people there. If you feel unsafe, take the shuttle. It runs on the half-hour. Just tip the drivers. Lol
I am not familiar with Sacramento. I personally did not feel safe because it was too much loitering.
The place is safe enough...i used to walk to down town...the road to downtown is not lighted but didn't face any problems..in and around is safe enough...you will see homeless around
Actually No It Is Not, Homeless section part of time, good thing is hawthorn is fenced in
The whole place is gated and i wouldn't want to walk anywhere far at night from there
Yes its in a safe area.
It's not in a walking area and it's age enough otherwise.
It's pretty decent... You'll see some bums under the over pass and the gas station right outside the hotel, but hotel was good as far as safety goes..
Safe enough. You won't be walking to downtown sac from there. It's far and you have to go through some not so great areas. The hotel itself is very well kept. They have security patrolling at night.
agree with above
