I didn't expect silk sheets and a bottle of champagne to be waiting but this place was awful. Non-smoking room should not smell like someone smoked a pack in there an hour before I arrived. The carpets were so stained and dirty looking that I couldn't bring myself to remove my shoes. There was a chunk of what appeared to be soap on the counter and stains on the countertops that should be attended to. Even the drapes were stained. Also, the area is totally sketchy. I'm not from around here so I had no idea I'd have to be worried about the safety of my car all night until I arrived. The only reason I didn't turn right around and walk out is because it was too late and I needed to sleep for at least a few hours before another 8 hours of driving... at least the actual bed appeared to be clean. Wyndham should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this place.

Nothing like the pictures. The place is rundown, drug addicts all around. No parking security. People hanging out in the parking lot at night, and concern over car break in possibility the entire night. Floors were not properly vacuumed. Literally afraid to walk around with no shoes. Ended up with bug bites after stay. Bathroom sliding door falling off the hinges. Kitchenette was nice to have.

My boyfriend and I arrived late to stay while traveling between Oregon and California for a family emergency. Reviews didn't seem bad, and I've had good luck with Wyndham properties, so I felt confident making a reservation for this hotel. While our room was affordable, I cannot honestly say I feel good about paying the rate we did. The front desk clerk obviously didn't care about what she was doing, and gave us no information besides where our room was. Walking to the building our room was in, we saw trash everywhere, the glass in the door to our building looked like someone had tried to punch through it and was entirely cracked. The room keys only occasionally worked so you had to try each lock multiple times. Then the carpeting in the room was stained all over the place, and the room was infested with ants. It was 1am, we had been driving 6 hours and had to be on the road again by 7am, and the room was already paid for, or we would have demanded our money back and gone to another hotel. While the area is obviously run down I cannot see how anyone could call this place a 3 star hotel. Advertise and charge accordingly, this was a $50 stay AT MOST. Also, they ask for a $100 deposit at the front desk and nowhere did it tell me that with the reservation I booked. Just avoid this place.

The good - check in staff was really nice (we had a late check-in). The buffet breakfast has a wide range of foods and the dining room is large and comfortable with a fireplace and a maitre 'd. The room's black out curtains worked wonderfully. The okay - the rooms were somewhat clean (the bathtub hadn't been well cleaned or was really stained and the baseboards were dirty... And that one cockroach my husband found in the bathroom died quickly), but the linings were soft and nice to the skin. We were in a 2 bed studio and the sink was separate from shower/toilet which is nice... But there was no door to the sink area so if you needed to wash your hands while the other people slept, you had to do it by touch and hope you didn't burn your hands or drench the floors. There was no sealing around the door into the studio so there was a square of light beaming into the room from the hall. The bad - new management requires a $100 credit/debit card deposit on each room.... Which is not disclosed on the website or through calling the 800 number. And they'll hold it at least 3 business days - could be a problem for people traveling on a budget. The beds were... Ahem... Very firm. I 'woke up in pain' firm. Since they have new management I hope they address that soon.

The rooms themselves and the interior of the buildings are smoke free, Outside the only places you cannot smoke is the pool area, everywhere else is good to go... just don't smoke underneath someone's window or you might have someone complain. The staircases have an overlook with a trashcan that has a ashtray for a lid.
yup... I called nite before the day i checked in...gotta grdRM floor, pets ok for a small fee,gr8 kitchenette, comfy bed, disabled ready ...their free buffet breakfast is nice to. pool/spa is open.
3pm but they'll let you check in as early as 12:30pm. And check out is 12.
Just call and they will send their van to pick you up.
From what I gathered living there for five weeks they have a fairly stable main staff. The place is under new ownership though, and they generally are looking for fresh people. My advice, contact the owner directly and make a case for employment. I wish you the very best luck and im proud of your initiative.
It is included with your room rate, they issue a parking tag.
Not sure if all rooms are dog friendly, but its big enough they should find a room to your liking
I believe they held $150 on my card a couple od weeks ago. I stayed for 4 nights, and my total bill was $373 so I don't know if the hold is a flat fee, or based on the total bill though. More importantly, I payed my bill in cash, and then they still charged my card a few days later. If you are paying cash, watch your statement closely...
I've stayed there for a minute, the place is very friendly and they have on site security and one of those outside security companies that they call. The homeless people know not to bother the guests cause there is a police station a block away and there's always CHP or Park rangers ir some form of law enforcement staying in one if the rooms. As for walking? That's up to you, The river walkway up to Old Sacramento is a nice place to jog and always has people there. If you feel unsafe, take the shuttle. It runs on the half-hour. Just tip the drivers. Lol
No. My twin 1 year olds and 2 year old were all free.
The park and fly options have changed recently and nothing is posted readily about this. Call them for more info as I have heard different things from patrons and staff.
Yes, they take cash. But if and when you do pay in cash be prepairedwith at least $100 for a cash deposit
