We had a family gathering at the sundial pavilion and it turned out GREAT! BEAUTIFUL AREA, CLEAN, with a huge grill & trash collection receptacles on site. Access to swimming & the basketball & tennis courts. GREAT FUN TIME had by ALL!

Yes, and most pavilions have paths that's wheelchair accessible. And wheelchairs have the right of way on the bike paths too

Not sure about memorial benches, but there are benches throughout the park; mostly on the main thoroughfare roads.
Well I do know that the park is back and to full compasity the weekends are nice full of people it closes at normal time as usual

The $140 million installation of two underground drinking water tanks, expected to be completed in March 2022, will temporarily disrupt recreation in a popular section of the city's largest park. But it ultimately will create 14 additional acres of land on the western end of the reservoir, where the water tanks are to be buried. Officials said the new green space will include an amphitheater and wider, better-lit walkways. The area could also feature a restaurant.
