It seemed OK, kind of industrial area. We took the hotel shuttle to Graceland. Not really a walkable area
nice hotel, no issues when we stayed. very friendly staff and great breakfast!
Very nice place with no safety issues noted.
Very safe. Memphis locals that were friends suggested this hotel as they knew it was safe. Can be a bear to get in/out of parking lot during rush hour.
The hotel is safe. The wonderful restaurant across the parking lot is safe. Driving during the day around the area and the nearby Elvis stuff is safe. I would not do any of those things after dark. The entire area is dirty with trash everywhere. Closed, empty businesses abound. Getting to the motel is easy and I recommend them.
I felt safe, didn't have any issues or see anything that made me uncomfortable. I arrived about 8 pm. Not much around this hotel other than the Mexican restaurant next door. There is a guard on patrol of the grounds.
I stayed there on my own and I felt safe. They provide a shuttle bus if you want to go somewhere within 5 miles and if you want to go further ask at reception for Clancys number, he is a very friendly taxi driver.
The hotel felt safe
Felt safe at the hotel but there is nothing within walking distance and the neighborhood looks a bit sketchy...
Well like every place else in Memphis teas days crime is a problem but the kids are there at night has an armed guard rolling the property constantly the really nice guy I talked to him for about an hour he's been doing it for several years I felt safe with him there I wouldn't worry about it now Kristen if you are still uncertain about staying in Memphis proper I would suggest to get a hold of one of their hotel casinos in Tunica Mississippi hotel room from one of them and drive to 35 miles up in the Memphis to do your side and stay there at that hotel casino you choose at night
