Walmart treats its employees horrible I shouldn't shop there but sometimes I find myself in a spot financially or in a certain area and it's convenient and afordable. I need to get certain items so I do what I shouldn't but it's to help others out.
It's a corporate store. Don't expect them to just close because it's the "right thing to do". Most of them time, people want to work those days.
I agree..But alot of big retailers are like that. I believe everyone should be off on holidays enjoying it with their family & friends
Regarding the review for self checkouts. Love them. Quick, convenient, and accurate. Walmart would not install them in their stores if they were not convenient for the customers. I abhor standing in long lines waiting to be checked out. Reference to working major holidays. I am assuming that most employees know that they will be working holidays when they apply at the store. I have children and didn't mind working major holidays. I either made time and a half or double time. This is only my opinion. No one else's.
Why do you use the self checkout? Taking someone's paycheck. I will Not use self checkouts. . As far as working Holliday, its corporate. The old man would not have it. When he died and the kids took it over, they went bananas. I bet most of you, clean your tabel at McDonald's. Why, do you work at McDonald's? Took someone's paycheck. Dress a free and funky as you can and they will give you a discount
Walmart is just like the other big name retailers with the exception of a few that for, me are little more expensive. To answer the question I would like it if they all would be closed during the major holidays. But, that's me!
