Dropped my review from two stars to one because of the "copy & paste" response from management that didn't read my review. That alone shows how little they care. Haven't stayed here but drive past several times throughout the day. Seems like a cheap slumy place by the guest observed in the parking lot. And the fact that a lot of out of town contractors put their employees here just supports the dive atmosphere.

I told manager that I can't climb stairs because of my disabilities. And was told there were no rooms available downstairs..when I asked for a refund he gave me a room downstairs but it was only a double bed .. I had paid for 2 Queensland an extra 20$ per pet which I don't mind because I pay for my pets even though they both weigh under 2lbs each... what I don't agree with is the fact that I paid for 2 queens and only got 1 double bed for 2 people if I am paying for 2 people today then I should NIT have to SHARE A BED

There was a mix up with key cards due to front desk error. We unlocked someone else's room where there was a couple being "romantic". The breakfast promised by the Travel Lodge website did not exist. The sinks were clogged and the television broken.. At checkout we were accused of causing damage that was already there. We had to dispute this or get ripped off for another $100. Apparently based on many, many other Google reviews, fraudulently charging guests credit cards after they check out is common practice at Clearlake Travel Lodge.
