Yes there three or four sets you can stop and rest I did. They are a bit steep
If you can find a spot down below or in the Beaches main parking lot then you have no stairs to deal with. If you park down town area there are many stairs.
Lots of steps from uptown down to the beach. There is also a ramp type path that you can take.
did not count but it was enough to make me sweat, specially going up.
They aren't steep, just a decent amount. My mom has knee problems and doesn't like the stairs, if that helps. You can find a place to park below the bluff, at the pizza place parking lot.
