Perfect as always. The town is great. Wonderful shops and food throughout. Pizza by the splash pad is a must and fishing the inlet never disappoints. The beach is always busy but with plenty of parking and room for others. Has good hills to ride and skate while being mindful of others. No signs posted at all and the boardwalk has plenty of room for everyone walking or riding. They have a beach house with ice cream and all the beach needs. The atmosphere is always great. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful park that fronts Lake Michigan with stunning view of lighthouses and piers. Playground for kids. Beach volleyball courts, concession stand, bathrooms, paved trail connecting to Howard family Trail. Paid parking is limited in season. Beautiful sunsets and walking distance to many other local attractions. No dogs in beach but allowed in paved trail.

Always relaxing when taking a stroll on the pier at Silver Beach. Any season is a stop and walk treat. Beautiful views which will include stunning sunsets most every evening year round.

I had to get out and take pictures. The view and the sound of the water was relaxing. People were enjoying themselves even though it was a bit chilly. My husband and I will definitely be coming back here. And yes the bike rider rode that wheely the whole time.

Depends how sly you are! I imagine if you go deep and strip no one will know. But that being said I only remember there being 1 life guard and they were pretty far down the beach... 🤩
Yes there is. It is next to the men's and women's restroom. Also, Silver Beach Pizza is a short walk where you can order take out.
Hotels are literally within walking distance to beach ⛱ 👍
221 Main is open with indoor and outdoor dining. Super refreshing to sit outside in your bathing suit under an umbrella with an iced tea and a wrap after a long swim.
That depends what you mean nearby. The closest course is at Benton Park about 4 miles away. Check out https://www.dgcoursereview.com/ to find courses anywhere in the country.
They have small grills set up along the side walk to the pier and a spot to dump hot coals.
Yes closed when raining. Lightning could be dangerous.
You can go park in the Walmart a couple of miles away
Not sure Google map it
If u show up there early in the morning before they clean the beach you can find small shells
Not sure if the beach itself actually closes... The carousel is open all year round.
The carousel is right across the street from the beach
The beach which is beautiful is free of charge as well as a 3 hour parking which is also free and located quite close to the beach.
Not that I am aware of. I have been there many times and cannot recall ever seeing anything like that there.
Wow! Hard to answer because it was the first time i got there, not sure i'm sorry
Yes they have showers
No camping on the beach. There's a charge to park in the lot about $5.00. If you turn left before the gate leading into the parking lot you can find free parking four blocks down.
I would recommend getting there early or just purchasing one yourself they go quick
Yes there three or four sets you can stop and rest I did. They are a bit steep
You can park in the public parking right on the bluff for free. Please note, if you park there you will have to walk a good amount to get to the beach. Not like city blocks or anything but still, you'll walk (down/up the ramp or stairs provided). If you park at the beach parking lot, it will be $12 for the day. It's closer and more convenient.
We were able to park there Tuesday and Wednesday of this past week. There wasn't any indication that it was closed for other reasons other than there were no more spots available.
I don't believe so.
Yes it does. There is silver pizza near by. The best pizza in town. Downtown is also walkable. You can explore many good restaurants there.
Parking is 10 in one spot 15 in the spot close to the lake
No fires allowes
Right now you don't have to pay. You only have to pay from Memorial Day to Labor Day as far as I know.
