The Inn At Harbor Shores

Our family had an exceptional stay at The Inn at Harbor Shores. Stay here! We had a King suite - the couch pull out bed worked great for two little kids. Rooms were clean, team was friendly, very service oriented. If you want to be close to St Joe and want the amenities of a hotel, stay here! Do not look anywhere else. Would recommend a room with the harbor view. In particular, the team helped us with a reservation last minute when our other place didn't work out.

"Resort" seems like a bit of a stretch here, but it's still nice. Could use a few more luxury/upscale touches if that's what they're going for. We would go back for the rate we paid. The spa was closed the days of our visit which was inconvenient. Also, they couldn't fit us in at the restaurant and were not too courteous about it. Front desk was kind and helpful, though! We were able to walk downtown and to the beach, but it took some time and wasn't a very scenic walk.

The location and rooms are great. The staff is a different story - I have stayed here several times for work and probably will not stay again. Think of this hotel as a Super 8 motel with inflated prices and staff that are not loving their job. You pay for the amenities that are truly not available, or hard make hard to happen. I recommend staying at a discount hotel any day of The Inn. McKenna in “guest services” might need another line of work, as she is not living her job. Just my honest opinion.

This hotel was a great place to stay for NYE! My wife and I had our 10 year anniversary there and all the staff made it very special for us. Speaking of staff they ALL we were wonderful! Some if the guests to the staff not so much. Sad to see people be so horrible to the hotel staff. We will definitely be staying here again though! And we will definitely be dining at planks again! Lovey makes the best drinks!
