Actually, for your information, the Railroad's Steam Engine, ex-USATC S160 #1702, was converted to burn oil instead of coal. (Yes, Steam Locomotives are able to burn more than just coal.)

Even if that were to ever happen, they also own a few diesel engines. They would be able to send one up the tracks to bring the train back.
