Kind of a dumb question
The trains make several trips throughout the day. I am sure they are more than prepared to complete each journey so you and your family are able to have an enjoyable time!
Actually, for your information, the Railroad's Steam Engine, ex-USATC S160 #1702, was converted to burn oil instead of coal. (Yes, Steam Locomotives are able to burn more than just coal.)
Even if that were to ever happen, they also own a few diesel engines. They would be able to send one up the tracks to bring the train back.
The ride isnt long enough. Im sure they plan so that doesnt happen
