Where is the near hotel? So far all we got are restaurants , etc Really need motels, hotels, near the attraction

There is a Microtel and a Sleep Inn both within a mile or so of the train station. There are a handful of privately owned motels still in operation in and around Bryson City. Scenic View is one that comes to mind within walking distance. Air Bnb is abundant, and there are no shortage of cabin rentals sleeping 2 to 10 people in the area.

For the best experience, rent a log cabin with a mountain view

Its just down the street. Several motels and hotels too.
