All my kids(13,11) want to do is come to this park! The rope swing is a blast (it holds dads too)! There are ledges to hang out on in the water while you watch the action on the rope swing and it's an easy swim across the lake if you want some peace and quiet. We highly recommend it for adventurous families with kids 6 and older.

It's pretty to look at but not where I'd have destination to go again. There are other places with a beach like easy access to swim. This place is rocky n roots, rough edged, no place to play in sand/dirt. Small area to sink or swim. The ground is hard, relaxing isn't easy. Get wet and then move on

Beautiful spot to cool off after a long day in the trails. It’s also a launch site for Bryson City Outdoors paddle boards and kayaks. There are picnic tables to turn this spot into an all day outing. If you have adventurous teens they’ll love the rope swings. (Bring a noodle to get across to the high swing across the lake)

I would've gave it a 5 star, but the swimming area wasn't so great. It was beautiful tho, with great views and backgrounds especially for picture taking. It was not crowded, had bathrooms and a picnic table. Good shade too.

Depending on the water level of the lake, and the level of the person's ability, it could be accessible. It may be difficult though. Deep creek in Bryson City would be better for someone with limited mobility for sure.
Yes but they have to be a on a lead for safety.
