The Cuban sandwich was good. The restaurant has seating but it's barricaded and you must take it to go or eat at 1 of 3 tables out front. When I asked about the restroom, I was directed to another restaurant/bar down the street. COVID is apparently still being used as an excuse here, even though the rest of the universe is open for business. They will take your money but won't share their toilet. I'll make my own sandwich and eat it cold next time.

We visited Bryson City for the first time, and based on previous reviews, we decided to eat lunch at High Test Deli. Our meals and interactions with very friendly staff did not disappoint! Everyone there was very friendly and truly appreciates the local support gained from your business. The portion sizes were perfect, and all of our meals were beyond delicious. We tried different flavors of their milkshakes, and we couldn’t decide which one we liked best. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the surrounding areas to stop by and try out their sandwiches during lunchtime!

We are currently offering takeout only, we are following all safety guidelines as per our local health department as well as the CDC. All staff get their temperatures taken before their shifts, all staff is required to wear masks & gloves throughout their shifts. We have always made the health & safety of our staff & customers our top priority and will continue to do so.
They have been very willing to accommodate people in our party for any special needs, just ask them.
I'm not sure if they have a second location but I do know that they go by two names. The first High test Deli, the second is The Filling Station. You may be able to look up details by searching for both names.
