Plan on four hours. Maybe half hour longer for early arrival
Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours.
4 hrs....with an 1hr stop
Well worth it. We went 1st class open air gondola. Went to Natahala lay over for 1 hour. Steam engine. Left at 10:30. Got lunch on train. Got back at 4:30. Absolutely worth the money.🌝
Around 4 hours
5 hours and 44 miles.
We live here and have done the train many times. We actually live on the road behind train station. Train for Noc pulls out promptly at 10:30am returns between 3:15 and 3:45. The train that goes to Dillsboro leaves station later in the am. The Noc train runs both the steam engine locomotive and the normal one. Please specify which engine you want to be on. Also at this time of the year when it's still warm it's better to be on the open cars with the fresh air the enclosed cars are hot and smelly and you won't like them as well no matter what class you go to you can go walking through all the cars to get to the dining car and the beverage car but at this time of year up until it gets cold I'm telling you go on the open-air cars.
The one we took was 41/2 to 5 hours
4 hours of fun and food
total time is 4 1/2 hours
