They have signs that enforce mask wearing but retail employees are very limited in what we're allowed to say as far as enforcing masks. All we're allowed to do is offer you a mask. If you refuse then there isn't much we can do. But, Meijer does a good job, better than most, of signage that reminds customers to wear a mask. They have 2 way aisles but not many customers follow them. They have stickers on the floor that indicate 6ft spacing. But, just as with masks, retail employees are very limited in what we can say so it's up to the customer to follow the indicators and guidelines that Meijer puts in place. They provide wipes for carts and hand sanitizer is available in pumps throughout the store. If everyone follows the guidelines, Meijer has great safety practices.
Same as usual...6 feet social distance..mask wearing...and make sure you wash hands before touching your face and/or eating..as well as sanitize your cart if in doubt.
