I am trying to return an item and I have 2 questions: 1. Why won't the website let me choose to return it to the Amazon store? (It only allows me to select the option of taking it to UPS.) 2. Do I have to package it if I go to UPS?

Just take your item into Amazon Akron do not require packaging and will send it back for you free you sign in on the kiosk inside the building and get a packing slip and give the item and the packing slip to the person behind the desk and they ship it back for you

I believe they want you to deal with the manufacturer for returns. Oftentimes they all have their own way of handling this so Amazon doesn't get involved. Most will send you a printable barcode to tape to the box...and yes, you need to box it up safely.

Not sure about the store it doesn't appear that the people inside the store do much no offense to them as far as UPS yes when I return something I had to package it
