Yes- best spot is at the dam by Riverhawk Lodge in the Huron River. Proud lake has a mucky bottom- there is a beach in the campground if you are staying there

yeah its muddy and not rocky for the most part. Its ok for a quick swim. Best bet is to go smack in tje middle of proud lake....its a submerged island and clear water and sandy. depth depends but lawn chair able in spots. love it. rent. boat or canoe. If you need a canoe I have a good one also square stern with trolling motor and battery.
Its a big area but it is all grass by the water.
