Sure there's many vantage points.. welcome!!! especially the tide pools at high tide!
I prefer parking and getting out of the car, stroll, explore what the place can offer, take pictures of the different views, learn some history of the place and admire the beauty of God's creations/nature.
I personally would not deprive myself by staying in the car. It is best to park it (if you have to drive there) and then just walk around and enjoy the beauty of nature.
