I can only imagine how beautiful this place was in its heyday. Loved the walking trails to get to the bottom and around the baths. Lots of remnants to see. The cave with the blow hole is impressive. If you look closely, there's rock out in the sea with a heart in the center.

There’s not much to be said, what was once a huge multi pool “bath” house that held fresh water pools, salt water pools, and more… burned down to now what my generation has grown up with in the 80s on… sutro baths. Where we drank, smoked, and now bring our out of town family members to for a nice view of the water that also adds interesting landscapes for photography and exploration. Essentially, it’s just a nice place to look at. Went twice this week with friends on a Saturday. It was busy, the lot was full which I’ve never seen, so we parked on the street which had more parking. Sunset was beautiful. Went again a few days later with other family members on a Tuesday at 3pm and the lot was almost empty. Parking could be found anywhere, however we did note a ton of broken glass from car windows throughout the lot, just not sure what time it was. So go enjoy the view, but go at your own risk as well!

Serene, breathtaking sunset and an easy hike. Lovely afternoon spent here. Kids enjoyed. The gift shop is also very nice. Restrooms are clean and a water fountain just outside the gift shop. Plenty of parking.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sutro_Baths There's no slides: It is the ruins of an old bathhouse that operated through the late nineteenth century.
Please don't urinate in the bath
I don't think so, it has timings.
They are free and open to the public as part of the Lands End park.
The trail is very steep and it's not paved down in the ruins. It's a steep hike down
No but you can from the side of the road
It's a historic landmark. The point is to NOT restore it.
Yes, full speed
Not really, they're kinda dirty. Mostly for strolling around and viewing the site.
Hard times are weekend days usually. There are 2 lots and tons of street parking but if you want to be safe just park in the residential area 2~3 blocks away
