I can only imagine how beautiful this place was in its heyday. Loved the walking trails to get to the bottom and around the baths. Lots of remnants to see. The cave with the blow hole is impressive. If you look closely, there's rock out in the sea with a heart in the center.

There’s not much to be said, what was once a huge multi pool “bath” house that held fresh water pools, salt water pools, and more… burned down to now what my generation has grown up with in the 80s on… sutro baths. Where we drank, smoked, and now bring our out of town family members to for a nice view of the water that also adds interesting landscapes for photography and exploration. Essentially, it’s just a nice place to look at. Went twice this week with friends on a Saturday. It was busy, the lot was full which I’ve never seen, so we parked on the street which had more parking. Sunset was beautiful. Went again a few days later with other family members on a Tuesday at 3pm and the lot was almost empty. Parking could be found anywhere, however we did note a ton of broken glass from car windows throughout the lot, just not sure what time it was. So go enjoy the view, but go at your own risk as well!

Serene, breathtaking sunset and an easy hike. Lovely afternoon spent here. Kids enjoyed. The gift shop is also very nice. Restrooms are clean and a water fountain just outside the gift shop. Plenty of parking.

It is a beautiful place. The view was very nice from all the places starting from the top, until next to the water down below and the water was as usual cold when we went for the sunset. The mixture of colors for the sunset were reflecting …

Why haven't they restored it? There are places like this fully operational in Australia. Kinda dangerous though, maybe they think we'd have lots of deaths & lawsuits here (?)

Hard times are weekend days usually. There are 2 lots and tons of street parking but if you want to be safe just park in the residential area 2~3 blocks away
