Not sure how anyone could leave a bad review. Yes you have to walk in the afternoon but the website clearly states walking rate only. The views from 15-17 are some of the best in SF not just on a golf course. Super fun track, well kept fairways and greens. Everyone we met on the course was super friendly. I was not sure what to expect but am already looking forward to our next round, it was a great course for a reasonable price in the City.

Drove through the golf course to get to the Legion of Honor. Looks like a great place to swing a stick at a little ball trying to get it to go into a little hole yards away. Gorgeous views.

Beautiful golf course. But you have to be careful walking around, as we almost got hit by a golf ball once, even when we are staying on the pedestrian walk ways. There may be some amateurs practicing here.

It's a 5 for the interesting hilly course layout near the bay & scenic views on a clear day like today BUT unfortunately a 2 for course condition. All the greens were bumpy and lots of balls marks. Every putt the balls were jumping up in the air and sometimes the speed just completely killed. The fairways had areas of hard pack brownout & areas that needed mowing. The teeing areas also needed maintenance. It's like Harding Park before the $4M makeover. An overplayed muni course that gets beatup so overall a 3.5
