Just came through from Houston in way to Seattle. Ave of Giants was well worth it. Absolutely worth staying at Elk Prairie. I suggest a camp site in the trees unless your in an RV. It is a wonderful experience, and the elk themselves are just as neat to sit and watch over breakfast or lunch.

You must drive through the Avenue of Giants.
