There is a stray in our neighborhood we thought for a while someone was caring for, but don't think so. If we can catch it, can we bring it in any time you are open?

Take it in. Everyone else is thinking someone else is doing something and nobody is. But call, get that poor animal to a shelter somewhere. Good on you for being proactive like that. If you can't catch it, get a trap and contact a TNR group if it is a cat, not these guys. Because they will just euthanize it if it's fully feral, all shelters ultimately do with ferals which is why TNR programs are more successful. Good luck.

When I called I had to make an appointment to drop off a stray cat and it was about a 5 week wait. You have to have a specific time to take them in

Where is this dog located?

Kelly Petruna | Jan 12, 2019

Call them first because every county has different laws regarding strays as far as where they need to be taken, how long the owner has to reclaim the animal, etc.

I would call them to see if they have room before you drive out there. For nothing

Katie Curby | Jan 12, 2019

They have specific times for drop offs, so give them a ring before you head over.
