Afternoon is best
Thank you all. As it turned out afternoon does seem best in April given the directions the falls face as Heather suggested.
It's hit & miss because it's in the woods. Just go on a sunny day. The afternoon should be better because its on the north side of the mtn.
In the morning i think.
We visited early afternoon (around 2:00 - 2:30) and had fantastic pictures. Plus the light helps with being mindful of your footing. It got a little slippery a few times! The sunlight will be a little different; we visited in the winter. You'll probably have more light for longer now that the weather is warmer and daylight savings has changed. I hope you have a wonderful time!
