Its not much of a hike, just steps going to it. Well worth it. Best time to go is after a rain. Enjoy
I have a messed up leg from diabetes. I got down to the falls with very little trouble. The first few steps are a little tricky, but after that it's pretty easy. Bring a camera.
Not far, wouldn't suggest bringing a toddler or elderly though.
Maybe 100 yards. Not far at all.
Have proper walking shoes or sneakers. It's a rocky path to walk but it's well worth it. I walked down to the observation platform and my husband walked down to the falls. From the platform to the falls there is a rope line to hold onto. It proved to me that I am unfit.
A little steep going down but it was worth every step
Not far at all maybe 100 yards but you can actually see it from the fence. It's well worth going down and seeing it. I def. Recommend good hiking shoes cuz going back up can be tricky if u don't have good shoes. Take your time but well worth it
Just to view the falls from the deck its not far. If you want to actually be up close you need to go down a rocky slope and since its close to the falls it can be pretty slippery. There are ropes you can use to assist in the walk down and heading back up. Just take your time and enjoy. There are some trails by the actual falls heading up and down the river that offer some really good photo ops as well.
From the gate I believe you can see it but to get up close you have to go down the first stairs which is around 100m. The second one you'll have to take some time.
