Not posted can't understand why you can't. Except if you come via ferry. There is a possibility your vehicle can get searched. Keep it concealed.
Don't think you would really need it it should be an issue if it's concealed and no one sees it however you need to call them directly.
Shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't consume alcohol.
