Oysters are cultivated and have a delicate taste,crab cakes were tasty but they had no lumps at all,nice corn sauce with them. Mahi mahi with miso was very good. Pleasant waitress(Lisa), ambiance good. Would go again.

DON'T EAT HERE!!!! I was treated to dinner at this Mitchell's Fish Market yesterday (28601 Chagrin Blvd, Woodmere, OH 44122) but it was NO TREAT. No one was at the hostess station when we walked in, I had to ask the bartender about seating. That should have been a warning to me. The floor at a nearby booth stayed filthy with food for the first 30 minutes. UNDERSTAFFED??? We ordered the calamari appetizer which was extremely salty and overcooked. When we sent it back for a redo it came back with NO seasoning at all. The Market Trio had smallish portions of fish and the salmon, shrimp and crab cake were all OVERCOOKED and INEDIBLE. The New Orleans Shrimp Pasta was severely over priced for the extremely small portion and shrimp was OVERCOOKED. The wedge salad was the only thing I could finish, again... waaay over priced for the basic ingredients that looked like they were from SaveALot or Aldi. (sorry Aldi!). Couldn't find any seafood in the seafood gumbo. The only bright spot was that we had a nice server. On the way out we noticed there was only crushed ice in the fish bin and NO FISH. And we were there right after lunch service ended so it was early. I suspect they were serving frozen food. SO DISAPPOINTING and over priced LOW QUALITY.

I was here many years ago and enjoyed it, but the food has really gone downhill. $42 for two lobster tails that were over cooked, incredibly tiny, and had pieces of smashed shell everywhere. 3 spears of asparagus and a couple of wedges of potato. Yeah…I’m done.

I have never had such an awful experience. We stopped at Mitchell’s expecting good service, drinks and food. We scored a table in the bar and waited patiently for our waiter. He showed up and took our drink and food orders. My husband ordered lobster bisque and the spicy shrimp appetizer. I asked if I could substitute shrimp instead of tilapia for my tacos. The waiter checked with chef and said it was okay. My husband’s food arrived but mine did not. I kept waiting as he was enjoying his food, but my patience was running out. I got up and walked over to the chef to ask where my tacos were and he told me they were almost ready. Again I waited, but nothing! I went to the bar and talked to the waiter and he said he would check. Unfortunately I never got my tacos! I told the waiter to forget it. He brought us our check, we paid it and left. We will never go back to Mitchell’s again!
