I didn't know I had to pay cash, so I had my credit card ready, it wasn't accepted. I lived in San Diego. I can't make a trip just to have the number required to pay the fine. Would it be possible to paid in person ?

The bay bridge must be pay on line we go out this bridge because is free and we take the other bridge we can pay in cash and we see the two best bridge of san Francisco
