As of last year there was no day pass option. You needed to stay over night in the resort
Yes you can get a day pass I believe its 75$ the waterpark closes at 8 though so get there early to beat the crowds and get the most for your buck!

Nope. Staying in the hotel is a requirement. All visitors must stay at least one night.
