Great walking trail, you can often see bald eagles and sometimes deer. Park at the waste treatment plant marked for discovery trail parking. Continue on foot down Goodrich Road to the end of the road. Walk around the gate on the right side …

Easy to access with well marked parking lot. Restrooms are at the parking area. Another half mile walk down to the trail start at the barn. There's a bald eagle pair that nests every year on the right / north trail river bend You can go left or right about one mile each way. This is a slow pedestrian traffic area.

Nice little family walk along the river. The map at the beginning was helpful. We parked at the water waste treatment center and walked a short distance to the head of the trail. It's a dog friendly trail with doggy poop bags and trash can available.

Super peaceful walk. Super close to town really easy to get to, nice parking. Always nice people if you see any. Nice half mile walk to one side and a one mile walk on the other. I take my son walking on all the trails around here and he really liked this one being able to see out in the open and then getting into the trees. It's also nice that they provided a large covered area that is perfect to sit down and have lunch with your family at or just take a break after your walk. And it plenty of space for social distancing. Thank you for having the park open to the public.

1/2 mile one way and 1 mile the other way after you get to the entrance about 1/4 or 1/2 mile from your car.

Can you ride a bike on this path?

You could for parts of it. It would be best to have a mountain bike as the path is not paved through out.
