Most people who work at these places live close by and usually walk to work. The kids are usually told to get a job, so they find the least mind provoking and menial job they can.......and then do less. Just trying to fill the clock for a paycheck. (Majority of warehouse jobs are in McDonough, can't walk that far, and warehouse work would actually be THAT - work, and they dont want that)
I agreed they probably live close by
What boggles my mind, is that Burger King's standards used to be so much higher. When I was a teenager working at a Burger King, I was told that even though I was one of the fastest workers, I needed to move around more, and look like I was in a hurry, because it was important that the customer know that I care that they want their food quickly. Today, so many of these fast food places allow their workers to be lazy, indifferent, even overtly to have an attitude of sloth and disrespect. Like they are proving that they're doing you a favor by bothering to get your food at all.
