Stopped late in the evening to buy a sandwich and some quick items on the way home. The sandwich maker was touching everything and was wearing the same gloves from the previous customer. Yuck!! I had to tell her to change her gloves before she started to make my sandwich.... that is NOT something a customer should have to tell someone who handles food. That's just nasty and shows her own level of cleanliness IMO. Then I went to buy a medium fruit bowl and saw a dead bug inside one in the fruit bowls. We brought it to the attention of one of the workers who advised my husband he could not read his lips with the mask on. He informed us how surprised we would be about all the "things" that get into our food and how people treat our food. He said we don't know if people don't wipe their noses and touch our food and much more. Although I agree and he may not be incorrect, however it was certainly not appropriate. Especially while he handles food in Publix!!! Made me feel like he may actually do some of those things and perhaps he was offended we pointed out the dead bug on the top of the inside of a fruit bowl. He mentioned he would tell those "girls" back there to be more careful... (That's what he said) I looked to try to be sure mine was bug free however today when I opened it the fruit was just not fresh and had some funny something I couldn't identify in the watermelon. I threw the bowl I filled away. I won't shop at this particular Publix again and I tend to love most Publix stores. Disappointing where the state of shopping is heading!!

Nice neat store. But lunchtime is very busy. So if you're coming to get food during lunchtime at the deli area, prepare to wait in long lines. Everything else is easy to find and they're always pretty well stocked. Quick checkouts and friendly cashiers.

I love Publix even though it is pricier. The store is always clean, fruits, veggies and deli are always on point. However, nothing tops the bakery with all those delectable CAKES! Great customer service as well.

I love publix. However, please check the dates of items on the shelf. This was out of date by months. I just bought this last week on 3-10-22. I am just going to throw it in the trash.
