It also depends on the trail you take. You can take the white or blue trails if you're a more experienced hiker, or you can take the gravel walkway to the top. There are an amazing set of cliffs if you're willing to go around the back, though at points it is hand over foot climbing. 100% worth it if you can make it!
Figure about 30 min to walk the road up to the tower
Depends on you.. half an hour? Took me longer. It's 1.6 miles up the tower road. Quite a gentle climb. There are more aggressive trails. Steeper and quicker .
With our 3 kids, age 11, 6 and a 2 year old we end up carrying most of the way, it takes us about an hour on the easy path to the castle. Nice walk, no ticks that we've seen, doesn't really matter what you wear for shoes.
We started the trails , but later went onto the walking path . Trails were fun, but at 52 and out of shape took it's toll. Path much easier
Regular walking pace is 50 minutes.
It's about 1.5 miles to the tower. Average for walking is about 45 minutes. The record is 11 minutes.
It depends if you are running or walking. Last time I climbed Sleeping Giant I was with my mother, and we walked slowly. It took us about 50 minutes.
