I was very insulted here when It was time to check out today. The two girls just starred me down while telling me my clothes were old... thats why they didn't sell. I DID NOT bring one thing old! I had recently bought these items THIS year! & most were just recent.. They just didn't have the tags attached! I am a very loyal customer & seller to Platos closet and i dont know what possessed me to show up at the hamden location today. They barely have anything on their racks to top it all off. I must've took 10 minutes to run down the whole store, and that is about how long they took as well. I go to orange usually because it's a closer drive for me & NEVER receive less than $5!!!!! I will never EVER go there again. Cut out the stupid lines why u cant buy everything. Of course u cant buy EVERYTHING. BUT FOR GOD SAKES!!! DONT EVER INSULT THE CUSTOMERS. u look like u never graduated high school.

Love the selection. Clothes and shoes all trendy in great shape. I've sold here and I will stick to selling bigger names myself. Very easy to do if you expect more money.

Just walked out of this location because before the man at the counter even saw what I had he immediately started telling me how busy they were and they only take new things. This is not the first time I’ve been to a consignment store and I understand they only want good items. His exact words were “I just don’t want to waste my time”. There is a polite way to say we are at capacity and that was not it. This was my first time going into this location and I will never be back again.

My daughter and I went to the store today to bring in some clothes. We brought in about 6 pieces with new clothes with the tags on and Lulu lemon shorts and leggings and a pair of Nike sneakers. When my daughter went back in they gave her $32 for all of the clothes that she had given them. This store is an absolute rip off I wanted to go back in and get my daughter's clothes but she did not want me to. Whatever you do do not go to this store to sell your clothes they are not fair and we ended up getting less than $5 per piece of clothing and shoes. An absolute rip off.

They would depending on condition of item.....but you will be better off selling on ebay because the price you will get wont be close to what they're probably worth.

Yes. 10am to 9pm but they stop taking in clothes at 8pm so all day you can bring your clothes to sell.
