Print your ticket at home and bring it. Just like an airline

Your choices are to either print your boarding pass before you arrive at the train OR install the Amtrak app on your smartphone, (available at the Play Store,) and your boarding pass will be available through the Amtrak app... I have had the ticket office print my ticket before departure, used the Amtrak app and printed my own and all methods seemed to work the same and I have had no problems or issues with any method...
