I went there to pick my boyfriend up from a trip. The train was there on time. I was a little confused because I was expecting a train STATION. It's just a platform. …

Amtrak was great. I don't was very pleasantly surprised with the ease of boarding and departing. The staff was very friendly clean and well-organized. Bay seats and coats were great they were wide, with legroom, they even reclined. Amtrak was a great experience and I look forward to more pills with them

Just the engines will change...
Sure you can... take the NE Corridor train out of Roanoke. You transfer at Union Station in Washington, DC, after about a 7.5 hour wait, you transfer to the Silver Meteor to Fayetteville, NC.
Or on your phone
There is no way to buy tickets in person here you either have to do it online or print them at home.
Salem Ave., S.W., just look for the platform and find a parking place on the street... The platform has good lighting and you will see it...
The City of Roanoke has a parking garage on Salem Ave., near the boarding platform.
