Towers Shopping Center has a bit of EVERYTHING in one location. I shop MOST of the stores and restaurants. The entire location is ALWAYS clean and SAFE. The parking lot is well lit, clean, safe and convenient. There's a wonderful mix of food, clothing, grocery, medical, banking, whole foods etc. Towers is the most CONVENIENT location for me and I don't have to fight through Mall traffic at Valley View. I've never had an unpleasant experience at any of the stores. The medical center is FAST and friendly, thorough. They take most insurance plans. I give Towers Shopping Center TEN STARS.

McAllister's deli is amazing! The food is fresh and delicious, atmosphere is clean and spacious, service is top notch, overhead music set list is just right!!!. We will return for any and all occasions, and will recommend to our friends and family. Carrot cake is off the chain. Prices are the most reasonable than most restaurants of all genres. Towers is the first original strip mall in Roanoke, and it's in great condition based on the age, as it was built in the early 60s. Towers had great anchors such as A&P, People's Drug, Heironimus, Rams Head Books, Davidson's, Highs Ice Cream, and even a movie theatre, all gone now. It has a unique design with two levels, connected by an enclosed center area. In 2022, it offers retailers Fresh Market, Petco, Kroger, Good Feet, a fitness center, multiple good restaurants, lots of smaller unique retailers, and has additional retailers in separate parking lot buildings on both levels. Towers had been able to change with the times and stay viable, unlike Crossroads Mall, built about the same time. Currently, there is sufficient parking, and access from Colonial Ave been reworked and improved. Enjoy shopping at unique as well as traditional retailers here, with a nod to a Roanoke of the past.
