Each part of the tour should last at least 30 minutes, the mine might be a little longer since there's so much explained by the staff plus the taking of questions, it varies. They run pretty much synchronized as one ends the other begins so you have time to acclimate to temperature and time between starts. There's also the mining museum if you choose to go at your own pace and has it's own cost. Call Ashland borough hall where it's located below the tunnel complex for more information. Higher Up Park is bonus on a nice day for picnic and play with children. Tunnel temperature is about 50° so may not be suitable for small children. Check for group or family rates too.
